Christine Skolnik is a Chicago-based writer, environmental activist, and former academic. She has an MA in Urban Sustainability, an MFA in Writing, and a PhD in English.

Currently, she is focusing on publishing essays and short stories and finishing a serious nonfiction book about the psychology and neuroscience of imagining green futures. When she needs a break from one reality she works on a novel about medieval architecture, ancient symbols, and our obsessive search for origins .
